For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was used and descriptive research was developed, based on the bibliographic review and the application of various scientific methods, such as analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and the hermeneutic method. The results obtained by the students and teachers involved in the research project "Prototype of ultrasonic cane for people with visual disabilities of the TES" revealed a notable situation in the country: the scarcity of studies related to technology and its impact on people with visual disabilities. visual disability.
