Transformational Leadership Analysis: A Tool for Organizational Change

Abstract
Transformational leadership is considered one of the most effective ways of leading an organization today, through the implementation of a process based on charisma, idealization, intellectual stimulation, motivation and individual consideration of workers, generating a greater awareness and commitment to achieve outstanding performance. The research aimed to systematically analyze transformational leadership as a tool for organizational change. For the development of the study, a qualitative methodology was used, of a basic descriptive type, through a documentary review; using as a data analysis technique the documentary analysis of a total of 518 scientific articles, of which 25 were selected, belonging to databases such as Proquest, EBSCO, Redalyc and Scielo. The results found allowed us to maintain that transformational leadership improves the disposition towards change, allows the design and implementation of effective change management processes, strengthens the organizational culture and promotes innovation within organizations. It was concluded that transformational leadership represents an effective tool to develop better capacities in the face of organizational change.
