Allergic reactions in terrafase workers due to improper use of personal protective equipment, Guayas 2023

Abstract
In 2023, in Guayas, allergic reactions related to PPE among Terrafase staff are a significant problem. Their overall effect extends to health and poses productivity challenges. To assess the prevalence of allergic reactions at Terrafase in Guayas and propose applicable suggestions that will make the workplace healthy and safe, we conducted the study on a group of 50 workers who are in constant contact with pesticides. This research is mixed, using instruments such as the interview guide and the survey, and the results were obtained through tabulation. It is necessary to intensify education and occupational training so that the use of safety equipment for workers becomes second nature.
