Quality in the management processes of Educational Institutions from the neuro-leadership

Abstract

The current management in the Public Educational Institutions is developed in a context of uncertainty, conflicts and risks, unfavorable conditions for a successful management. Neuro-leadership introduces as a new way of thinking, deciding and doing in human resources management, the approach of a management model based on the advances in neuroscience. The objective of the research has been the development of an educational management model in order to empower the director (leader) with strategies based on neuro-leadership. The study is of a mixed approach, of a propositional type. The documentary analysis, observation, and the Teacher Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (TESALD) were applied to a sample of 132 teachers from a population of 387 who work in 21 Educational Institutions in the La Victoria district of the Lambayeque Region. The questionnaire was validated by experts and reliable by means of Cronbach's alpha. As a result, it was possible to diagnose that the levels of job satisfaction of teachers were 49.2% at an average level and 25% at a low level. Concluding that most of the study sample is not fully satisfied in their work. Keywords: Neuro-leadership, educational management, management processes, job satisfaction
