DOES THE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM FAVOR IN THE LEARNING OF MATHEMATICS?

Abstract
The virtual classroom in these times of the pandemic has seen an urgent need to use in a large way, whose main objective is to determine if the virtual classroom favors the learning of mathematics in elementary students of the EI Nuestra Señora de Fátima, El Augustinian. The research is quantitative in focus. The study population was 30 primary school students from the EI Nuestra Señora de Fátima, Agustino for the data collection of the variable Learning of mathematics, the evaluation technique was applied and the instrument an objective test that consists of the pre-test and the post-test through the Google form. The reliability of KR-20 (Kuder and Richardson) was applied, with a favorable result. For the data processing, the SPSS version 26 statistic was applied. The results obtained after data processing and analysis tell us that the virtual classroom has a significant impact on the learning of mathematics. For this reason, it is demonstrated with the Mann-Whitney U test with a value of 153,500 and p = 0, 000, we can conclude that it favors the learning of mathematics in elementary students of the EI Nuestra Señora de Fátima, Agustino.
