Organizational strengthening of the irrigation and drainage boards of the cantón Cañar

Abstract

Water resources are important for the development of humanity, since without water one could not live, hence its regulation and efficient distribution is important for its better use. The objective of the research is to establish the elements that institutionally strengthen small communities that benefit from irrigated waters. The research methodology has a documentary and bibliographic approach, since it has resorted to research works by other authors who have addressed the subject of study, for this electronic media such as Academic Google, Scopus, PubMed, among others have been used. , which have been the academic and scientific input that has nourished this research. What can be inferred from everything investigated so far is that institutional strengthening is associated with the creation of irrigation and drainage boards in productive areas, especially agricultural, livestock, among others, that have water supply problems.
