Main Article Content
Abstract
The study analyzes the impact of digital competencies on Mathematics teaching in middle basic education, highlighting their role in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. At “Rafael Cruz Cevallos” School, the limited digital training of teachers affects educational quality. Through a questionnaire applied to 35 teachers, it was identified that although there is a willingness to innovate, the lack of training and institutional support hinders the integration of technology in the classroom. This highlights the need to strengthen teacher training in digital competencies to optimize both learning and teaching in digital environments.
