ICT-based methodological strategy to improve the digital skills of teachers in the Technical Baccalaureate in Computer Science

Abstract
This article analyzes the result of digital competencies among teachers of the Technical Baccalaureate in Computer Science (TBS) on their methodological strategies, fostering practical learning and preparing them for highly technological professional environments. At the Catalina Cadena Miranda Educational Unit, the lack of digital teacher training influences student learning and performance. A mixed-method study with surveys of 45 teachers demonstrated the effectiveness of teacher training in digital environments. Educational improvement proposals are presented that integrate the use of ICTs, responding to the demands of the 21st century and strengthening educational quality.
