Abstract

This study analyzes the adaptation of digital tools in teaching and learning processes, focusing on the challenges and opportunities at Unidad Educativa Fiscal 24 de Mayo in Quito. The main objective was to identify the difficulties faced by teachers in adapting and to implement a strategy for the use of educational technologies within the classroom. A sample of 60 teachers was taken using a descriptive methodology through surveys and validation by experts in educational technology. The results show that teachers over the age of fifty face difficulties with digital applications, but those trained in educational technology exhibit higher levels of perceived self-efficacy. It was concluded that there is a need to review and update teacher training courses and to provide the necessary technological devices to promote innovative and inclusive education.
